A Safe Space to Explore, Reflect, and Heal

Meet Your Counsellor – Abiola Abimbola

Life can be unpredictable, filled with transitions, challenges, and moments where we feel lost. I understand this personally, having navigated many significant changes in my own life.

Before becoming a counsellor, I have worked in different capacities , where I was often the first point of contact for colleagues who needed support. Listening to their worries and working with them to get through situations made me realise that helping people was something I was deeply passionate about. Encouraged by my experiences, I went on to train as a counsellor, combining my professional and cultural background with a desire to create a space where people feel truly heard and understood.

My approach is person-centred and client-led, which means that counselling is shaped by you – your needs, your pace, and your unique experiences. I also take a creative approach, using creative tools which would enhance our work, should you be open to this approach to help clients express themselves when words don’t feel enough. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can explore their emotions without fear of judgement, and my role is to walk alongside you as you work through your thoughts and feelings.

As a BACP-registered counsellor, I provide a professional, confidential, and culturally aware service to adults (18+) seeking support for anxiety, stress, self-confidence, trauma, and life’s many ups and downs. Whether you’re struggling with something specific or simply feel like something isn’t quite right, I’m here to help.
